Background

It's said that necessity is the mother of invention, and my case was no different. While I may have started writing web pages for fun ten years ago, I was also a small business owner and was very unhappy with the software available at the time.

At the times, the choices were to either spend tens of thousands of dollars on something that almost did what we want, or spend the time to do it right. It was clear from the demos out there that the software was being written by people who knew how to make it look pretty but had no idea how to make it really useful.

My design philosophy is to create websites that are simple and elegant. The user work flow should be simple and easy to understand. Don't make people fit the software, make the software fit the people.
